Dave Marshall

Company Director Dave Marshall began his medical career 20 years ago with the London Ambulance Service and spent many years working on ambulances and response cars in one of the busiest ambulance services in the world.

He relocated to Kent Ambulance Service in 2004, and spent over 3 years working with the Kent Air Ambulance, providing trauma care to critically injured patients across the South East and taking part in almost 500 missions.

He has a wealth of experience training military and security personnel all over the world in both the public and private sector. He has taught first aid to members of the public and trauma medicine to hospital doctors, and is equally enthusiastic about both.

Dave gained a Diploma in Healthcare Science from St George’s University Hospital London, and has extensive knowledge of treating minor illness and injury in the primary care setting. He carries out regular shifts in local Minor Injury units where he is able to maintain his skills.

International work as a paramedic on many high- profile sporting events, such as the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, HSBC Open Golf and a number of international expeditions including the Namibia Ultra Marathon in 2010.

He recently returned to the UK after 3 years in the Middle East, where he worked on frontline ambulances and helicopter rescue.

Dave is passionate about prehospital care and firmly believes that, by using simple techniques, anyone is capable of saving a life. It is on this simple premise that SPARTAN MEDICAL SERVICES LTD was co-founded with long-time friend and colleague Dean Bateman.
